What can I expect on my first treatment?

You should allow up to one hour for your first treatment, this is because we need to take a history, carry out some tests, explain what we do, answer any questions you may have, gain your permission and then carry out the treatment. For more information see here > 1. First Visit

How much does the first treatment cost?

The first treatment costs £60.00 and you should allow an hour, see 1. First Visit

How much does any subsequent treatment cost?

Subsequent treatments cost £50.00, you should allow up to half an hour for the treatment.

What should I wear?

There are no restrictions, If you can wear loose comfortable clothes, if not we can supply a gown.

Does it hurt?

Chiropractic treatment does not usually hurt, we encourage you to say if you feel any discomfort.

What sort of conditions can it help?

Chiropractic has been shown to help joint pain, headaches, shoulder pain, back pain, neck pain, pain or discomfort caused by mechanical conditions of the body.

Will it help my posture?

First visit.

We want to ensure that we give you the best service possible, we need to communicate to you what your Chiropractic treatment will involve. We will first take a full history this includes gaining as much information as possible about your history and presenting condition. We will then briefly explain what we do, following this we will gain your permission to carry out some tests and the treatment. You may refuse or withdraw your consent at any time. After gaining your permission to treat you we will carry out some tests to try to determine the cause of your problem and to ensure it is safe to treat you. We will explain what we discover from the tests and agree with you the number of treatments you may require. Again, you may refuse to continue at any time.

Second Treatment

Follow up treatments should you need them will cost £50.00 and you should allow 1/2hr.

Communication

We want you to take responsibility for your health, we are happy to answer any questions concerning chiropractic and your health. We can offer advice about exercise and diet if needed. We can demonstrate any exercises or stretches if required or requested.

Reactions

Please remember you can get reactions to a chiropractic treatment. Reactions vary individual to individual, but you may feel stiff and achy after a treatment, usually people are fine, in fact they often feel and lot better, but please bear in mind you may also get adverse reactions.
